Tết or Tet holiday (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. It signifies the beginning of the new year and also traditionally marks the first day of the spring. Tet holiday is a great occasion for family members to get together and express their gratitude to their ancestors and homeland.

Tet holiday is considered an important mark for changes, plans, progress. As Vietnamese people celebrate it to welcome the new year and summary what they did in the old ones.

On top of the new start, Tet holiday also sets the tone for the coming year by popular customs include family reunions, giving Lucky money to the children and the elderly, ancestor workship and wiping out debuts.
