These pictures are part of unfinished series dedicated to "might and magic" game ("Windows of Enroth"). I find the symbolism of a window connected with transcendent.
Darkmoor Castle
in a symbolical perspective a window can serve as a portal to a different (magical, ideal, perfect, free of evil and corruption) world. But you can only observe it, you cannot fully touch the landscape. In that way it can be compared with our mystical experiences of beauty wich are always not full (complete) enough. The beauty always "evades", and that is why many of us are so obsessed with photography: it brings the illusion of "cathing" the moment.
